Motorflirt Ltd (mf) trading as motorflirt.com and mfdating.com is committed to protecting the privacy of members or users, using the (mf) services and protecting the personal information we obtain on registration. We comply with the Data Protection Act 1998 in dealing with your personal information.

1. The information we collect and how we use it:

(mf) services operate via a dedicated secured server holding only information relating to (mf) services.

When you register for our service via our website we need to know certain personal information, depending on the service required, such as your email address, mobile telephone number, mobile network, gender, DOB, location and vehicle registration number (optional).

If you register for our services via your mobile telephone we will record only your mobile telephone number and your service provider. For use of our website services you will however need to provide additional information.

Your personal details are never disclosed and you are anonymous at all times save that any data collected may be passed to ICSTIS. Data collected from you may be used by ICSTIS for regulatory purposes.

You may, if you wish, enter information about yourself on the profile section of the site. This may include information such as hobbies & interests. You should not however enter any information that is likely to disclose your identity, address or other contact details.

Save as provided above, MF™ will not sell members’ or users’ personal information or pass it on to unrelated third parties. The personal information collected by MF™ may be used, to enhance the services provided, in the following ways:

2. Cookies

A cookie is an alphanumeric identifier which we transfer to your hard drive through your web browser when you visit our website. It enables our own system to recognise you when you visit our website again and improve our service to you. The traffic information can be used to enhance the content of our website and make your use of it easier. We do not track which pages you looked at while visiting our website.

(mf) use Worldpay Plc (a third party payment processing facility), who operate a secure server, to process card payments. (mf) can neither view nor store this information.

5. How we protect your information

The Internet is not a totally secure medium. However we have put in place various security procedures as set out in this policy.

5.1. User passwords are encrypted at source, using a well-known one-way encryption methodology. Passwords are never stored in plain text.

5.2. All (mf) servers are behind firewalls, offering a large degree of protection against unauthorized access, and have in place appropriate anti-intrusion detection and counter-measures.

5.3. All hardware is physically secure. We also keep your information confidential. The internal procedures of (mf) cover the storage, access and disclosure of your information.

6. Sale of business

If the (mf) business is sold or integrated with another business your details may be disclosed to our advisers and any prospective purchasers and their advisers and will be passed on to the new owners of the business.

7. Updating your details

If any of the information that you have provided to (mf) changes, for example if you change your mobile telephone number and/or network provider or vehicle registration number or if you wish to cancel your membership, please let us know the correct details by sending an e-mail to admin@motorflirt.com
